The Artist

Barry Cloyd

Lots of cool stuff has been happening. Barry has been in Nashville working on his next CD with an amazing cast of musicians. Production and engineering of the initial phase of his next recording is being handled by Tim Carter of the Carter Bros. Band and the world-renowned Carter family...Johnny Cash's kin. Big thanks to Tim Carter, Roger Eaton, Shad Cobb, Dann Sherrill and Joel Perry for their parts. Great musicians and awesome guys to work with!!

Recently, Barry spent a month in Baja California Sur, Mexico and was able to arrange shows, songwriting workshops and radio interviews in the Todos Santos area. Special thanks to Teatro Luna Azul (Blue Moon Theatre) and the iconic Baja Club "Shut Up Frank's" for hosting Barry's appearances.

Also...Barry is very excited to have been asked to become an endorser for Recording King Guitars (www.recordingking.com) and provide YouTube video demos of some of their incredible instruments as well as demonstrate their products at various trade shows. Recording King is an internationally distributed 75 year-old iconic guitar, banjo and dobro maker...so all you musicians, please check out their website and get to know their fantastic instruments. Special thanks to Ashley Atz of RK and Roger Eaton for this opportunity! And Barry's, just been named an international endorser for G7th capos...they are beautifully crafted, award winning capos made by his friend Nick Campling in England. Thanks go out to Nick and Seamus for the honor!!! Check 'em out at www.g7th.com.

Barry is pleased to have his songs "The Edge of New Orleans" (After the Storm) and “Heartbeat” from his newest CD “Spirit Dance” being played on the Celtic Roots Radio Station, based in Belfast, N. Ireland. Check out www.celticrootsradio.com or www.live365.com/index.live
