What is the Privacy Policy?

At Chicago Acoustic Underground herein refered to as CAU, we respect your privacy and take the responsibility of protecting the personal information that you share with us very seriously. We will never sell, rent or trade the personal information we collect from members or visitors to chicagoacoustic.net to any third party. We simply don't do it.

The CAU Privacy Policy is based on three basic principles:

1. We will only ask you for personal information if we need it to provide the service you request.
2. We will not release any personal identifying information about you without your consent.
3. We will always give you the option to edit the information that you've provided to us or to have your personal information removed from our records.

CAU does collect statistical information, such as the number of members in a city or traffic to various CAU pages, in order to track trends and preferences of our members. This information enables us to make our site and the CAU Magazine as relevant and meaningful as possible.
