The Jeannie Tanner Quartet
Here is the lineup: Jeannie Tanner, Vocals & Trumpet, Lisa McQueen, Piano, Cory Biggerstaff, Bass, and Darlene DuFay, Drums. Being a Jazz man, I totally fell in love with this Quartet. Joining me for this session was Ms. Kat Fitzgerald . The music that afternoon was absolute magic and the show lasted over one hour. Jeannie's lyrics and music are beautiful and the musicianship of this quartet is excellent. I highly recommend that you join me at Andy's Jazz Club at 11 E. Hubbard on February 12th or 13th for her CD release party. It all starts at 9 PM and goes to 1:30 AM. I am going on Friday night, and there's a damn good chance that I'll come back for the Saturday night show. Download and listen now! |

Jennifer Hall
Jennifer joined me one evening along with Noam Wallenberg guitarist from her band. As you will hear, it was a wonderful performance. Jennifer is such a classy Lady and her lyrics are so very expressive. Mate that with the consumate guitar style and vocals of Noam and you have a hit!!! Here's some pics from the show. Episode 244 - Tom Vollman

Tom Vollman
Tom came in to the studio on a cold wintery day and both of us had head colds. Milwaukee based, Tom put out a hell of a good show even with the cold. It sort of added a Tom Waits flavor to his voice. Certainly one of the interesting parts of the show was the monster big hole he added to his guitar which you can see in the pics from the show. Tom is one hell of a performer and I am sure you will enjoy this show. Here's some pics from the show. Download and listen now! |

Matthew McKinney aka Wolfman America
Greg Combs joined me to listen to this young man's music. As you can tell by both our reactions we were impressed to say the least. Matthew in his guise as Wolfman America is a self described time traveller in the Universe, and ya know what, perhaps he is. You are going to hear the as yet somewhat raw talent of this very creative individual. Good luck trying to catagorize Wolfman America. Early Dylan, Neil Young and perhaps a smattering of Zappa, but mostly he is himself. I believe this is someone to keep track of as he is destined grow and find an audience. Here are some pics from the show.
