HEADLINER: Rachel Drew: Rachel Drew is a prolific songwriter and a wonderful singer – whether lead or harmony. Chances are good that you’ve seen her perform in one of your favorite hangouts (SPACE, Fitzgerald's, the Old Town School of Folk Music's Square Roots Festival, Simon's Tavern), either in her own band, as a duo, or singing harmony with others. Rachel grew up in a musical household singing 3-part harmony with her parents, getting lost in imaginary songs on the family piano, and dancing wildly to dusty classical records. She's now a fixture in multiple Chicago groups and musical residencies, a frequent close harmony singer on other people's records, released an album of her own original songs in 2016, and is hard at work on the next album.
