Mike Lopez and his lovely wife Susan joined me one afternoon on their way to the East Coast part of Mike's U.S. tour.
\nMike's music is infused with stories of the California Central Coast's indigenous people. Part native American, Chumash of the Kalawashaq Village, he embraces the multicultural aspects of his deep roots. His multifaceted background is clearly reflected in his songwriting. Mike has created a wonderful way of telling stories through his original songs. An original sound of true Americana with a dash of red hot chili!
\nMike's songs will inspire and teach through the joy of his lyrics. We recorded well over an hour of music and stories and culled it down to just under one hour.
