Pravda Records celebrates 38 years of music in Chicago with a 2-day festival of shows outside at Sketchbook Brewing Co! The weekend is MC’d by James VanOsdol and features favorite current artists, surprise reunions, and lots of memories from the Pravda catalog. Enjoy with a pint of Pravda 38, an easy rock lager brewed by Sketchbook especially for the anniversary.

Pravda Records was started in 1984 by Kenn Goodman to spread different styles of music to people with open minds. Over 100 releases later, the label represents bands in Chicago and beyond with sounds as broad as country punk, garage rock, indie pop, and soul.

Sketchbook Brewing Co was founded by homebrewers Cesar Marron and Shawn Decker in 2014 with a desire to bring culture, sustainability, and really great beer to the community. With taprooms in Evanston and Skokie and beer distributed all over Illinois, Sketchbook is renowned as a preeminent brewery with a local feel.
