The Artist

Adam McDonough

Adam McDonough grew up in the little beach town of Cape May, NJ. After graduating Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, Adam quickly made his way working the music industry building his chops and honing the business skills playing the cover band scene and collaborating as much as possible. His influences include artists such as Tom Petty, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, Jackson Browne, and Paul Simon to name a few. Adam has worked his way up to pack some of the most prestigious venues throughout New York City and the greater area. Adam has been fortunate enough to share the stage and studio with international artists such as James McCartney, Foy Vance, Nicole Atkins and even work with Producer Aaron Johnson (The Fray, Secondhand Serenade...) at Swinghouse Studio in Hollywood, CA. He is now living in Nashville, TN building his career through the industry by writing, playing shows, working the social media scene, and recording as much as possible. His debut album was released Oct. 1st 2013 and the supporting video "Shook This House" (Official Music Video) is now up and running.

Many thanks to CAU Alumni and dear friend Sarah Lou Richards for bringing Adam in to record this show. Sarah's brand new album "The Woman Behind The Curtain" is available for download, CD, and my personal favorite, vinyl. It is a beautiful album.
