| About Steve Davern |
I am a songwriter and part-time performer who stays pretty close to home with my wife and three children. My songs are for sale! I'd like to hear my songs played by other artists who can make them sound like thier own. I just opened for business so we will see how it goes. Every year, I organize the North Side Irish Music Festival, Rolling Stones Night and Johnny Cash Night. All events are low-cost (mostly free) neighborhood events where it is possible to catch a neighbor playing some of your favorite music.
Music background...I've been playing guitar for many years and I've played in a few bands (Hodgepodge, Tractor Terry and Sway to name a few). I also make guest appearances with the Big Wu and God Johnson who are great friends and mentors of mine. Speaking of mentors...Keith Richards, Mick Taylor (even though he almost fell on me once), Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Peter Townshend, U2, my Wife, Kids, Mom, Dad, Grampa, Brothers, Sisters and my goofy friends.
I am also a ultra left-wing-right-wing-conservitive-liberal-pro-this and that-nobody who has a lot to say about nothing.
