Majors Junction
Episode 169
Majors Junction came into the studio to record a pre-concert show in support of the Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival being held this Saturday November 22nd at the Congress Theater up on Milwaukee Ave. This was like a reunion of sorts as two of the members, John Hasbrouk, Brian Wilkie, and Matt Gandurski are all CAU alumni. Also joining us for the evening was Mike Raspatello of CBGB, Theresa Carter of The Local Tourist and Jeff Brown along with "The Wizard of the Mix" Michael Vez.
\nThe Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival is donating a portion of the proceeds to The Saving Tiny Hearts Society The Saving tiny Hearts Society’s mission is to raise money for grossly under-funded, crucial, life-saving research of congenital heart defects (CHD), America’s #1 birth defect. Nearly 1 of every 125 babies born in America each year is affected by a Congenital Heart Defect…
\nWhat a fun night and what a great band! Everyone should join us at the festival this coming Saturday November 22nd.
\nHere's some pics from the show.
