“My Sweet George” George Harrison Birthday Tribute

Celebrating The birth of the spiritual Beatle George Harrison on one magical night...

“My Sweet George” 2020 at Martyr’s

Meet your hosts!
Ellis Clark has been a longtime fixture of the Chicago music community working nationally as a performing musician with his band The Big Parade, as a songwriter for himself or other artists, a recording artist and record producer. In the past, Ellis had Epicycles and Social Act Under his belt. He’s hosted (to capacity audiences) Beatles & Who tribute nights at The Mayne Stage Theatre in Rogers Park. Currently, collaborating with Ary Jeebie in “Big Hair Big Trouble!” Recording debut in 2020!

Ary Jeebie, Amazing Heeby Jeebies groovy garage rock band front woman, singer, and songwriter has rocked all over Chicago to their home turf in Rogers Park since 2010. Keep your eyes peeled for Amazing Heeby Jeebies shows and their music on iTunes, Spotify and more. Currently, collaborating with Ellis Clark in “Big Hair Big Trouble!” Recording debut in 2020!

Together, the garage rock siren and post punk pioneer will be resurrecting the spirit of George Harrison celebrating his birthday with “MY SWEET GEORGE”, a night not to be missed which will have many special guests including Sandalwood Sitar, Phil Angotti, Thomas Klein, Soulkeeper Gerald McClendon, Phoenix, Frankie B, Brand New Heartaches, The Fluffers, Twisted Roots, and many more to raise awareness for uninsured Musicians & Music Cares.
Emceed by Chicago’s legendary mayor of rockabilly Ken Mottet!
