THE ORIGINAL CHICAGO BLUES ALL STARS
Legendary Willie Dixon’s Original Chicago Blues All-Stars reunited and re-launched 40 years later with 3 original members and a 25-year-old protégé.
The band consists of bassist Deacon Freddie Dixon (Willie’s son), drummer Dr. Jimmy Lee Tillman, guitarist John Watkins, and 25 yo guitarist Michael Damani.

They are a living history of Chicago Electric Blues, carrying on the legacy, keeping the blues alive. OCBAS, plays various venues and events around town, including Untitled Supper Club and Buddy Guy's.
The All Stars have recently launched a weekly radio show on Que4 Radio,” Blue-Plate Blues Breakfast Special” Monday mornings from 9 to 11am. They have the live band and very special guests come in and talk, tell stories about the old days, and jam together. It is live video streamed and broadcasted.
They also do a weekly Thursday night residency at Motor Row Brewery in the South Loop which has been dubbed the “Blues University” as many great players, local blues legends and up-and-coming performers jam together.
