Don Diego Trio (Rockabilly, Honky Tonk)
Mark Gamsjager (Lustre Kings, Albany, NY)

"Don" Diego Geraci, after 20 years of continuous activity with the Adels, where the various musical influences have become his style. Rockabilly, country, western swing, blues and rock and roll meet the typical "Italian taste" of the 43-year old guitarist from Sicily.

The sound that comes out is a mix of classic rockabilly, sixties country and honky tonk - in one word “ameripolitan music”.
You will enjoy the sound of a tight and always danceable rhythm session, together with the virtuosity of the leader.

"Twang Kitchen" (Rydell Records, 2015) is his first solo album, followed by "Roadhouse Stomp" (2015) and "Hillbilly Session - Chapter # 1" (2016). "Greetings From Austin" (2017) (El Toro Records - Spain), recorded live in Austin, at the Ameripolitan Recording Studio owned by Dale Watson. The album is produced by a longtime friend of the guitarist, who now lives in the USA and plays in Dale Watson's band: Mr. Mario Monterosso. It features a lot of "Ameripolitan friendly" artists like Teri Joyce, Mike Maddux, Chris Casello and Ted Branson. The Don Diego Trio has been nominated three years in a row in the “Best Rockabilly Band” category for the Ameripolitan Music Awards. During their third USA tour they recorded their latest album “Rocking in Memphis” at the world famous Sun Records Studios.

Lustre Kings' Mark Gamsjager:
Beginning with 1995’s Mark Gamsjager Rocks & The Lustre Kings Roll, the band staked a claim to a modern take on the reverb-driven sounds of early rock, leaning also on touchstones of country, blues and R&B. Other artists, like the famed “Queen of Rock,” Wanda Jackson, hear the authenticity in The Lustre Kings. Perhaps that’s why she hired Gamsjager and the group as her backing unit for many tours.
