Remembrance Of Lost Species Day:
A Benefit Concert Featuring
Original Songs About Extinct Animals
By Chicago’s Finest Singer-Songwriters
Friends and collaborators Rebecca Jasso and Sarah Eide are teaming up to create an event that is going to be creative, quirky, inspirational AND (possibly) educational.

They are bringing together some of Chicago's VERY finest performing songwriters, giving them the challenge to write an original song about an extinct species, in honor of Remembrance Lost Species Day (which is officially November 30th).

What is Remembrance of Lost Species Day (RLSD) you might ask?
Well THREE species are lost to eternity EVERY hour. In 2014, WWF-UK reported in its Living Planet report that Earth has lost half its wildlife in the last 40 years.

RLSD is an effort to to create new rituals for remembering and mourning those we have lost, and for celebrating and making commitments to those remaining. We think that's pretty cool, and we want Chicago to do MORE to celebrate this day.

Constellation is generously hosting this show, and we couldn't be more thrilled! We invite you to come to this event, hear your favorite songwriters, discover new favorites, learn about extinct species, and most importantly, RAISE MONEY to help save those that are endangered!
