July Update

It's July and an amazing, hot summer is here. CAU Records has completed the album for Brian Walker, as well as a video for the song "Edward" for Jane & The Steadfast Acrobats. Jane will be headlining the Chicago Roots Collective Showcase at the mighty Lincoln Hall on July 24th. Please come out and show your support of this up-and-coming singer. Poi Dog Pondering Drummer Rehearses Brian Walker's Upcoming Album at the CAU Studio

Happy Valentine's Day! The CAU studio got some love today from drummer Earl Talbot of Poi Dog Pondering. The world-class musician joined Brian Walker and bassist to polish tunes for Walker's upcoming album.

Talbot's astounding knowledge of the rhythm realm adds some flavor you're sure to fall in love with. The team has also started tracking the upcoming album at Angel City Studios in Chicago.

The CAU studio loved the down-to-earth attitude of the truly talented Talbot.

Trumpetress Jeannie Tanner CD Release Party at Andy's Jazz Club 2/12 & 2/13

It's not often that fans get to see a trumpet player making a name for themselves in the jazz world, especially in one of the biggest jazz cities in the nation. Meet Jeannie Tanner, who plays both trumpet and the audience's heartstrings as she sings her way into your heart.

Tanner and her band entertained a packed house for two nights in celebration of the release of her latest album You Can Kiss Me into Anything.
